Notoryty Intelligence Private Limited
Last updated: 3 November 2026
This policy explains how Notoryty Intelligence Private Limited ("Notoryty", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data through notoryty.com and through emails you send us. It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act"), the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
1. Who we are
Notoryty Intelligence Private Limited is a company incorporated in India.
- CIN: U62011DC2026PTC475230
- Registered office: 12, Mahadev Road, New Delhi, Central Delhi, Delhi 110001, India
- Email: contact@notoryty.com
For the personal data described in this policy, Notoryty is the Data Fiduciary under the DPDP Act.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers:
- visits to notoryty.com;
- the design-partner and contact form on notoryty.com;
- emails and calls that follow from an enquiry.
This policy does not cover data that a lender or other customer uploads to the Notoryty platform under a written agreement. That agreement governs that data. For that data, the customer decides why and how it is processed, and Notoryty processes it only on the customer's instructions.
3. What we collect
Data you give us. When you use the form or email us, we collect:
- your name;
- your work email address;
- your organisation and your role;
- details of your organisation that you choose to give, such as the type of lender or the size of its renewable-energy book;
- anything you write in your message.
Data collected when you visit. Our hosting provider records standard technical data for every request to the website: IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the time. We use this data only to run and secure the website.
Data we do not collect. The website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It does not use third-party analytics. It does not ask for passwords, bank details, card details, identity numbers or health data.
Currency display. The website shows amounts in rupees or US dollars. Your browser chooses the currency from your device's time zone. This choice happens on your device. It is not sent to us or stored.
4. Why we use it
| Purpose | Data used | Basis under the DPDP Act |
|---|---|---|
| Reply to your enquiry and discuss a design partnership | Form and email data | Your consent (section 6) |
| Send you follow-up messages about that enquiry, the pilot or the product | Name, work email, organisation | Your consent (section 6) |
| Keep the website secure, prevent abuse and investigate incidents | Technical data | Legitimate use (section 7) |
| Meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests | Any of the above, as required | Legitimate use (section 7) |
We do not sell personal data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not use it to train AI models.
5. Your consent
The form asks for your consent before you submit it. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing contact@notoryty.com with the subject "Withdraw consent". Withdrawal is as easy as giving consent. After withdrawal, we stop processing your data for the purposes that relied on consent, and we erase it unless a law requires us to keep it. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it.
6. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that process it for us under a contract, as Data Processors:
- the provider that hosts the website;
- the provider that receives form submissions;
- the provider of our email and documents.
These providers may process data outside India. We transfer data only to countries that the Government of India has not restricted under section 16 of the DPDP Act.
We disclose personal data to a government authority, court or regulator only when Indian law requires it.
If Notoryty is merged or acquired, personal data may pass to the new owner. That owner must follow this policy or tell you about any change.
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiry data: up to 24 months after our last contact with you. If you become a customer, your customer agreement then governs it.
- Technical data and security logs: one year, as the DPDP Rules require, unless an investigation needs longer.
After these periods, we erase the data or make it anonymous.
8. How we protect it
We protect personal data with reasonable security safeguards. These include encryption in transit, access limited to the people who need it, multi-factor authentication on our accounts and access logs. If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform the Data Protection Board of India and the people affected, as the DPDP Act and Rules require.
9. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, you can:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- ask us to correct, complete or update it;
- ask us to erase it;
- withdraw your consent;
- nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to act;
- raise a grievance with us.
To use any of these rights, email contact@notoryty.com from the address we hold, or tell us how to verify that the request is yours. We reply within 30 days.
